Every new or major renovated premise must have a fire sprinkler system. There must be one in each room, and all of the major hallways. The goal is not to put out the fire (although that would be good), but buy the residents some time to get out safely while fire management comes in to take out the fire. As noted in the water page, all sprinkler lines will be color coded orange. This will allow the plumber to see what the particular line is for.
